Roller skating isn’t considered to be a high adrenaline sport, even though it can be! Often times rollerblading can be a low intensity activity, meaning that it is a great way to get your body in the ‘fat burning’ zone and to help shift excess weight. It’s also a good way to help keep your joints supple and to gently exercise your muscles. However, there are also high intensity competitions for roller blading. It is a full body workout that requires a lot of cardio to keep up, balance  to skate by, and determination to go far. 

 

Do you have what it takes to enter one of these intense competitions? There was even an event at the youth olympics in 2018.
